Title : Natsu no Owari (20/?)

Genre : Angst & drama

Summary : Jin apologises to Kame, and for a moment, they forgot their troubles.
A/N : This is happy!Akame. Sorta. I hope there're people who remember this fic. lololol. No insinuations or otherwise intended. If you must know, I wrote the latter part of this with a smile on my face the entire time.

Title : Halfway there
Pairing : Ryo/Kame/Jin (they're like becoming my fave pairing)

Genre : dramaaaaa.
Summary : Jin goes to LA. Kame is worried but Ryo tells him that everything will be okay. Also known as the fic in which people never say what they really mean.
A/N : FIRST FIC IN A YEAR!!! O.O and thanks to ironicdawn  who made me feel...like I had to write something. XDDDD

Kame was convinced Armageddon was coming. Maybe it would start with the icecaps in the North pole melting, then the overbearing heat in countries south of the equator. Famine would probably come later, and there would be a worldwide shortage of food. Eventually people would start turning on each other (hell, they already do) and the world would be a desolate landscape with few clinging onto survival. He never told anyone about what he thought or his secret stash of books regarding astrologers' predictions about the apocalypse. He figured that telling anyone wasn't going to stop the world from combusting from within.

He felt a hand on his shoulder.

"Kame are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm just wondering what I wanna have for dinner." He smiled reassuringly at Ryo and Ryo looked unconvinced, but he didn't prod further. Kame leaned over and hugged Ryo tight, not being able to give voice to the surge of feelings inside him. A heartbeat of silence, before he felt Ryo's hand smoothing out across his back.

Kame thinks that Armageddon is coming.

He used to be afraid.

The darkness seemed to wrap itself around him. He stared off into the pitch black, his eyes getting accustomed to the blurry shapes. Somewhere in the distance he heard his phone ring.

"I think....I wanna stay here forever."

He smoothed his fingers across the bedspread, reaching out and he brushed against Ryo's fingers in the barest of touches. Just to reassure himself that he was still here, that Ryo hadn't dozed off or something.

He felt Ryo's fingers catch the inside of his palm, and he liked being here with Ryo, no need for words to fill the burgeoning silence, no need for urgency because here, it seemed as though they had all the time in the world.

"No one's making you leave."

He turned his head sideways to look at Ryo and strangely he could see Ryo with startling clarity despite the darkness.

"I...." He opened his mouth to speak but his words were stopped by Ryo's fingers on his lips.

"Shhhhhh....."

And Kame, who had an answer to every question, an explanation for everything, couldn't speak. Because you gotta accept that some things just were, and that words were superfluous.

He wondered how Ryo, how all this would look like in the morning.

He thinks he will probably regret it come morning. He also knows that come morning, he'll still want to be here.
